This weekend is world sleep day so why not use the opportunity to focus on the importance of rest. For most of us rest can feel like a luxury but it's a necessity! The vagus nerve is closely associated with sleep quality. It balances the nervous system by promoting a relaxation response, a critical component of good sleep. Join me as we spend the evening stimulating the vagus nerve, through our meditation, gentle flow yoga, yoga nidra (yogic sleep) & relaxing to the healing sounds of the crystal singing bowls. BALANCING THE CHAKRAS DAY RETREAT

ABOUT MELISSA YOGA
I’ve been practicing yoga for over 20 years. Travelling to far away places as cabin crew has given me the opportunity to practice with many wonderful teachers in the most amazing places. Initially setting out with a physical practice I soon realised yoga is so much more. I took a teacher training in 2012 with the late & most incredible yogi Conrad Paul (I clearly remember his last words to me being ‘Go shine the light’ so here I am!) & then pre & post natal training with Yoga London in 2016, Yoga Nidra & Crystal Singing bowl Sound Healing.
I believe yoga is for EVERYONE & love to share the life changing practice with all. I offer classes, workshops, retreats, one to one & corporate yoga. If you are completely new or a seasoned yogi there is a class for you. There are always variations to challenge & modifications within poses & alternatives to simplify. Classes are aimed for all levels. I am here to support you on your yogic path. There is no need to be flexible! Join our wonderful nurturing yoga community. Practicing together creates the most wonderful energy. Come along!! 🙏
